We are very excited to be working on this project which is a new enclosure for our two Ring tailed Lemurs- King Julian and Maurice!
They certainly will be living like kings in this new home! With a large indoor and outdoor area, as well as their very own climbing facilities with large branches and platforms, visitors will be able to see the Lemurs in a more natural environment, with lots of space to roam and explore.
Ring tailed Lemurs are a very curious and active animal and require lots of stimulation and engagement, so this enclosure will mean they will never be bored! Look out for some engagement activities our team provide the Lemurs as well such as hidden fruit kebabs, which allows them to use their scent to find their treats!
Our team have been very busy with this project as you can imagine with the amount of thinking gone into the design and structure of the enclosure and ensuring safety and security for the animals, we hope to have the enclosure finished and ready for the Lemurs to move in by August 2022.
