We are just 10 minutes away from the scenic town of Newcastle, a popular tourist spot with plenty to see and do, before or after your trip to Mountpanther.

Newcastle has stunning views of the Mourne Mountains and is right beside the sea. Take a walk along the promenade, grab a poke, or treat yourself to some fish and chips for tea.

Funny Farm Adventures

This is located only 10minutes away from us, with some of the best views imaginable!

They offer glamping pods, caravan/motorhome pitches and tent pitches.

Seaforde Gardens and Tropical Butterfly House

Seaforde Gardens, Maze and Tropical Butterfly House promises a truly plant rich and nature-filled experience for visitors.

Situated in Seaforde only 10minutes from Mountpanther.

The Mourne Eye

The newest jaw dropping sight In Newcastle, the Mourne Eye is located in Castle Park and offers outstanding views of the town, the mountains and the sea.

The Mourne Eye is open everyday until 31st August from 11am – 9pm, tickets can be purchased on site.

The Dundrum Inn

Just a 5-minute drive away from us, is the local cosy pub and restaurant, The Dundrum Inn.

Newly renovated, the place is perfect for Sunday lunch and to unwind after a busy day, it is central in the village and in just a couple of minutes you can dander down towards Dundrum bay for some amazing views.

Keel Point

Why not take an evening walk around the hidden gem of Dundrum, Keel point.

This 2 ½ mile walk takes you through the full range of scenery and habitats in the nature reserve, and provides views in all directions, as well as an opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, with the stunning Mourne Mountains as a backdrop.

The Squid Shack

If you fancy something quick and handy before heading home, Squid Shack is just 5 minutes away in the village of Dundrum and offers amazing quality takeaway sea food at a great price.

Squid Shack is a hot food bar on the main street of Dundrum brought to you by the team @ Mourne Seafood Bar Dundrum.

French's Cafe and Bistro

This place is located less than 5 minutes away and offers brilliant food in the village of clough, it has recently undergone extensive renovations to provide bistro facilities with menu’s to suit all tastes.

Its one of our staffs favorite go to places for a sit in experience!

Great visit the fact you could go in amongst the animals is credit to the farm staff and shows the animals are well treated and looked after, wallaby being my all time favourite animal was absolutely amazing… my wife, daughter and her friend had an amazing time, and the fella who looked after on the tractor ride to the deer was a wealth of knowledge, telling us about the old house etc and how Donald trump tried to buy the place… we will difo be back

Finally got to experience the tour down to the deer and helped feed them. Last year we went during rutting season. The young lad who gave the talk was exceptionally well versed in the life of the deer. I would highly recommend Mount Panther Farm for anyone to visit.

Such a great family day out, all the staff are so friendly and informative about all the animals. I have to say this year I was very impressed with a lovely lady called Becky she was such a friendly person and told us all about the animals and nothing was too much trouble. She took out the guinea pigs after seeing my son had a teddy of 1. Both my sons love getting into see the goats as do I, it is such a fantastic place for family day out. Highly recommend and we can't wait to visit again.

We took a wee unexpected trip to mountpanther farm with 3 kids  aged 5,11,12 and they all loved it so much everywhere was spotless the staff were so friendly when kids were asking questions about the animal's  I will definitely be back here very soon best farm ive been to

You can bring your own picnic or there is somewhere I think you can buy food - we didn't so not sure what is available. Staff all very engaging with children and very helpful and polite, didn't wait for my boys to go to them, they came to us to ask them if they wanted to pet animals or talk to them

Both the adults & the kids, we spent the full day here as there is so much to do between feeding animals, talks, deer safari and a whole range of activities for kids like park play areas, go-karts & bouncy castles! Staff were lovely too, we will be back!
