Did You Know?

They are one of the only species of monkeys/apes that frequently give birth to twins.

Fun Facts

These monkeys use their specialised claws to establish a firm grip on tree trunks and gnaw holes in the bark with their lower incisors and canines. This causes the tree to produce more sap, which is used to seal injuries to the bark. This tree sap is a valuable source of carbohydrates and minerals. “Marmoset” is derived from the French “marmouset” which means dwarf.

Adaptions

Marmoset’s have claws that help them grasp tree bark and safely move around between branches and trees as a result, which benefits them as they spend most of their time in trees.

Great visit the fact you could go in amongst the animals is credit to the farm staff and shows the animals are well treated and looked after, wallaby being my all time favourite animal was absolutely amazing… my wife, daughter and her friend had an amazing time, and the fella who looked after on the tractor ride to the deer was a wealth of knowledge, telling us about the old house etc and how Donald trump tried to buy the place… we will difo be back

Grandchildren as ourselves thoroughly enjoyed whole day. Finally got to experience the tour down to the deer and helped feed them. Last year we went during rutting season. The young lad who gave the talk was exceptionally well versed in the life of the deer. I would highly recommend Mount Panther Farm for anyone to visit.

This is our second year in a row to visit Mountpanther Park and it never disappoints. Such a great family day out, all the staff are so friendly and informative about all the animals. I have to say this year I was very impressed with a lovely lady called Becky she was such a friendly person and told us all about the animals and nothing was too much trouble. She took out the guinea pigs after seeing my son had a teddy of 1. Both my sons love getting into see the goats as do I, it is such a fantastic place for family day out. Highly recommend and we can't wait to visit again.

Great space for kids- animals to feed Great price for the activities the kids could do- we spent about 3.5--4 hours here. You can bring your own picnic or there is somewhere I think you can buy food - we didn't so not sure what is available. Staff all very engaging with children and very helpful and polite, didn't wait for my boys to go to them, they came to us to ask them if they wanted to pet animals or talk to them

10/10 loved it! Both the adults & the kids, we spent the full day here as there is so much to do between feeding animals, talks, deer safari and a whole range of activities for kids like park play areas, go-karts & bouncy castles! Staff were lovely too, we will be back!
