Our Mission Statement and Ethics Policy set out our commitment to the highest standards of animal welfare, environmental responsibility, and inclusive visitor experiences—ensuring that every animal in our care thrives mentally and physically.
Mission Statement
As well as being a great family day out, Mountpanther Farm Park provides an educational aspect to the visit.
We hope to encourage a lasting interest and respect for animals amongst our many visitors as well as an understanding of conservational activities.
Our work is based on respect for the dignity and wellbeing of all the animals in our care, our employees and all our visitors.
We aim to inspire and excite our visitors with the selection of farm animals and exotic animals within our collection.
We aspire to create positive public attitudes and behaviours towards animals and the their natural environments , leading by example through our own actions.
Code Of Ethics
Care – we treat every animal and person with respect and compassion and we care about maintaining high standards in all that we do. We use expert advice and experience to support the welfare of our animals. We ensure that it is engrained in everyone that the well-being of our animals remain at the heart of our mission and that we go over and above what is required to ensure that our animals thrive mentally and physically.
Integrity – we are honest, responsible and accountable so that we can be trusted. We promote this culture amongst all our staff and ensure that all individual judgements taken are always for the well-being of all our animals, no matter the financial cost.
Commitment – we work hard to honour our mission and are devoted to the people and animals in our care.
We provide the facilities which have the necessary requirements so the animals can express their natural behaviours and this is specific to each and every species in our farm.
Our animals are ethically acquired and when necessary rehoused in accordance with our Animal transfer Policy.
Mountpanther Farm Park promotes and demonstrates inclusivity valuing everyone regardless of race, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, disability or age.
We will not contravene local laws or regulations and we will operate with transparency.
We will review our ethical behaviour annually through our Ethics Committee.
